What will membership include?
The CRA Association works collaboratively with bankers, regulators, community-based organizations, government, and non-government organizations to help meet the CRA needs in the communities served throughout Indiana. Activities of the CRA Association will be targeted in four key focus areas:
- Professional Development/Networking Opportunities
- Community Outreach/Community Partnerships
- Community Needs Assessment (Regional/Statewide Providers)
- CRA Regulatory Requirements
Our programmatic content will include understanding of community development finance; engagement with regulators and other community partners; and understanding of statewide community needs, and peer support. Meetings, which are currently held virtually, may include break-out sessions by region or bank asset size to maintain relevance to banking institutions. CRA Association members will have the opportunity to engage with their peers in discussing CRA performance context and interact with regulators to learn “best practices” for enhancing their bank’s CRA program.
