About Us

The Indiana Community Reinvestment Act Bankers Association (ICRABA) is comprised of FDIC-insured financial institutions that are regulated by the OCC, FRB, or FDIC and have responsibilities for meeting the needs of all communities as defined by the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

ICRABA exists to promote key concepts of the Community Reinvestment Act, including lending, investments, services and community development; promote community development opportunities for low/moderate income households and communities, small businesses and small farms throughout the State of Indiana; provide member institutions with education and networking opportunities to help identify community development opportunities consistent with the CRA.


Mission

To empower banking professionals throughout Indiana by connecting, developing, and engaging a network of CRA resources to positively impact our communities.


Purpose

  • Providing education programs and networking opportunities for its members to connect with other CRA Banker professionals, non- and for-profit community & economic development organizations, government bodies and regulatory agencies ultimately to further member’s ability to meet community credit needs, specifically targeting majority LMI communities, small business development, or small farms.
  • Facilitate a forum for CRA-qualified organizations to communicate their missions for the purpose of seeking bank involvement through lending, investment, or service activities.
  • Directly supporting CRA-eligible initiatives primarily serving LMI communities in its identified Indiana regions by providing investments and services to community-based organizations.
